Delicious chicken thighs stroganoff recipe
Ensure you season your chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
Then, heat a non-stick, or a well-seasoned skillet to medium or high.
Pour some olive oil and once it gets hot, add the chicken thighs. Sear them for about 5 minutes or until golden brown. Then remove from the skillet and reserve them in a bowl.
Place the skillet back on the stove, and add a little more olive oil if needed. Next add the onions and garlic. Cook for about 7 minutes.
Next add the cremini mushrooms and cook till browned, about 6 minutes.
Move the mixture to the sides of the skillet, and add the butter and flour. Mix until creamy, about 3 minutes.
Lastly, add the chicken broth, the white wine, Worcestershire Sauce, Dijon mustard, heavy cream, salt and pepper.
Return the thighs to the skillet and cook for 10 minutes or until the sauce thickens and is creamy.
Serve with fresh herbs.
